Tesla Retro-Futuristic Diner: Menu, Price, Location, and Other Features

By Nathan Cole

Tesla Retro-Futuristic Diner Menu

Tesla is popular for its electric vehicles (EVs) and its role in popularizing EVs. It is also well known for its energy storage solutions and technology products. Tesla’s impact extends beyond just EVs, influencing the entire automotive industry and driving advancements in battery technology and sustainable energy. As of late, Tesla has officially opened its Supercharger Diner in Los Angeles after seven years in the making. There is a lot of excitement surrounding Tesla’s new Diner, and several reports say people are eager to experience the unique combination of a retro-futuristic diner, a Supercharger station, and a drive-in movie theater.

The opening of this new Diner has attracted significant attention, with people arriving early, even in Cybertrucks, to be among the first to visit. Tesla brings forward a new concept of combining classic dinner fare with a retro-futuristic design, and includes a drive-in movie experience synchronized with Tesla car audio systems. This article will further discuss Tesla’s brand new venture, its menu, pricing, features, and much more. So, keep reading.

About Tesla Supercharger Opens a Brand New Diner

Tesla Diner is a Supercharging station, diner, and drive-in theater all in one, located in West Hollywood, California. People seem hyped about this unique, new concept of blending the classic diner experience with a retro-futuristic design influence and a Supercharging station. Tesla is focused on providing charging convenience. The 80 Supercharger stalls are said to offer a place for Tesla owners to charge their vehicles while enjoying food and entertainment. There will be 80 Supercharger lots with two movie screens and a 24*7 diner that serves a wide variety of locally sourced food.

This move by Tesla is considered iconic, as it focuses on enhancing the charging experience for electric vehicle owners. It provides a convenient and enjoyable way to spend time while charging, combining food, entertainment, and charging facilities. The best part of it all is that it is not exclusive to Tesla owners, and anyone can stop by to experience the Diner and movie theater. Back in 2018, Elon Musk said he was planning to build a full-scale 50s era diner that would serve as a drive-in movie theater. Exactly, after 7 years, this plan officially came to life. This unique idea has generated much hype, with people waiting as many as 13 hours for the site to open.

More About the Tesla Supercharger Diner features

As for its theme, Tesla Diner combines 1950s American drive-in diner aesthetics with a super-modern Tesla-inspired interior. This creates a blend of nostalgia and innovation. The correct location is at 7001 Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, which is around a 20-minute drive from Hollywood’s legendary Walk of Fame. Apparently, any EV owners with a compatible connector can recharge their vehicles while enjoying food and entertainment.

The entertainment section should be highlighted because the Tesla Supercharger Diner features two 45-foot LED screens for a drive-in movie experience. It has audio and video synchronized directly to the Tesla car’s touchscreen, which allows users to enjoy entertainment seamlessly. What stands out about this new diner is that Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus is seen serving the customers. However, it remains unclear whether it is going to be a regular part of the serving team. This move from Elon Musk is said to be an effort to make charging experience more fun instead of just a routine stop.
