The Samsung Galaxy S25+, released earlier this year, has been the best-selling model of the company’s flagship smartphone series. Amazon is currently offering massive discounts on the device, but is unable to reveal the price on its main page due to an agreement with the Korean brand.
The 512GB version of the Galaxy S25+ is available on the marketplace for $919, which is a substantial lower price than the $1,119 rate on Samsung’s official website. However, the electronics giant has a pricing agreement with Amazon that restricts the public display of certain discounts on its products, blocking Amazon from directly showing the sub-$1,000 price tag.
The agreement ensures that Samsung maintains its luxury brand image by not offering massive discounts. As a result, the real discount on the Galaxy S25+ is only visible to Amazon customers once the product is added to their cart.
Samsung Galaxy S25+ Specs and Features
The Galaxy S25+, released on February 7, 2025, has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset found on this year’s Android flagships.
The device comes with 12GB of RAM as standard, with 512GB of internal storage. There was an entry-level 256GB version, which was discontinued last month following the launch of the S25 Edge. It has a triple-camera setup consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom, and a 50MP wide-angle lens. On the front, there is a 12MP selfie shooter.
It’s backed up by a 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired charging, up to 15W of Qi2 wireless charging, and supports reverse wireless charging for other Qi-compatible devices using battery power. The Galaxy S25+ is available in four main colors: Navy, Icy Blue, Mint, and Silver Shadow. Additionally, there are exclusive colors such as Blue Black, Coral Red, and Pink Gold, which are only available on the official Samsung website.
S25+ runs on Samsung’s OneUI 7, based on Android 15, which offers a wide range of AI-driven features and improvements. Compared to previous iterations, OneUI 7 provides a more polished and refined user interface, with enhanced performance and smoothness. There is a new “Now Bar”, providing real-time updates on the lock screen, and Samsung’s answer to Google’s Gemini, the Galaxy AI, which helps users simplify everyday tasks with features like AI Select, Writing Assistant, and Drawing Assist.
